How to lose ten pounds in ten weeks?

One day I was looking at myself in the mirror and questioning how to lose those extra ten pounds after having two kids. I was struggling to lose only a pound for five years.

Beginning of December 2008 was my starting point to eat and live healthy. I exercised five times a week at Urban Active Fitness and had a strict eating program. Cutting down the amount of food is not pleasant for me. Most people have false misinterpretation about diet. Diet does not mean have fewer meals, but rather eat healthy food. Less fatty food and more filling food are the answer.

Your surroundings really play a big role for your objective. My husband, Restu, and I alternate watching kids while the other works out at the gym. Members in our gym are also people who put numerous efforts to achieve their goals. We always envy people with great bodies at Urban Active that motivates us to stay focus to accomplish our goal.

Workout five times a week as a full time working woman with two kids is not a simple job. But, let me tell you that it is possible if you have a strong willpower.

We use “Lose It” application in our smart phones to keep track daily calories intake and outtake. There are many factors contribute to your total daily calories: weight, height, age, gender, and activities. The rule is to lose only a pound within a week. If it is more than that, it is unhealthy and you will gain back easily. Sadly, I could only have 1200 calories a day to lose a pound in a week and personally, 1200 calories means too little food because I love to eat. I tried to burn at least 200 calories daily during first week at the gym so I could eat 1400 calories. Gradually, I built my endurance and was able to burn 400-500 calories. It means I can consume up to 1700 calories. Hallelujah!!!

We eat smart and exercise regularly now and barely feel weak after busy days in the office. Eat and live healthy really changes our life. I am able to lose ten pounds in ten weeks.

    Foto before and after nya kurang beda…heheeee….You still look the same…just a bit chubby in the cheek…but still cute….Need to post a more tragic transformation picture :)

    I agree with mommy Rica….Can’t really tell the difference Fon..loe mesti berdiri juga pas foto before and after nya. I will keep working out really hard until I lose 25 lbs..woo hooo…Thanks for your tips and motivations
